Associate Director of Therapies

This is an exciting time to be part of acute Therapies within ASPH.

We are looking for an experienced and inspirational leader with management skills, a passion for quality and innovation and a desire to empower others. The post holder can expect to be fully involved in the planning and development of initiatives aimed at improving the flow of patients through acute care as well as innovative future workforce solutions.

The therapies team consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, speech and language therapists, therapy practitioners/assistants and administrative staff.  Services are provided across 3 sites as well as some community services.

You will have a vision for how our therapists can work flexibly along clinical care pathways that follow the patient throughout their acute journey and take account of individual needs rather than being restricted by a particular setting. Clinical outcomes and improved patient experience through a 7 day working strategy with a focus on maximising independence will be key deliverables.

Applicants will need to have substantial clinical, leadership and managerial experience and expertise, together with a track record of achieving innovative improvements and of research.

If you are looking for a role that requires putting your skills in operational management, workforce redesign, and strategic clinical leadership in to operational practice then we would be very glad to receive your application.

Interviews to be held on Monday 14 May 2018.
